Bright Ideas helped me cut my energy bill in half...without using solar.

Bright Ideas has helped us in a big way to cut energy-usage at our house before we go solar, so we can get a smaller system and save money overall.

Some of the things they have done for us include putting in a new pool pump (we went from 3,000 kw per hour usage, to 200 kw per hour usage), had us join their propane co-op where they negotiate the cheapest price on propane and we all fill at the same time (for any of you on propane), and put in a dual meter for us to save on our PG&E bills (one now runs our well pump with the idea being both meters will now be out of the higher tiers on the electric bill), and they fixed our ductwork - I can totally feel the difference where they fixed it.  My son's room used to feel like a refrigerator in the winter, and a sauna in the summer, and now it is as temperate as the rest of the house. They also put in 5 new energy saving windows which have made a huge difference on the temp inside the house.  My gardener just broke one (sob, sob!), but it turns out it came with a lifetime breakage warranty so we are covered. They are facilitating the whole replacement. In fact, their customer service has been phenomenal.

 

They went the extra mile, and exceeded our expectations with quality work and meticulous care!

 

Since Bright Ideas installed a second electric meter at my home each month I have saved significant amounts on my electric bill.  Last month alone I saved over $200.  In just a few short months the cost of the installation has paid for itself and I am now seeing positive savings.

 

The first month savings was about $200 and that was in January! The house is more comfortable and quieter, and the pool is even cleaner with the new pool pump.

 

Bright Ideas went out of their way during holidays to get my home renovation done when I needed it.  Also, you are extremely trustworthy and do what you say you are going to do - including working through the holidays to get my house back together.  My home computer is down, but when it comes back up, I can send some photos if you like.  Customer service is very high on my list of important things, and it was very nice working with someone I could just have take care of everything - I am even a licensed PE, so I could have been my own general if I wanted to!
